Chap I know had one last year for commuting, thinking it would be cheap, knowing the pitfalls and all that... didn't expect the frame to snap when he went over a pothole though.

ROSPA et al advocate getting up to speed as quickly as possible. Not speeding but getting to the limit and using the performance of the vehicle. Therefore, rocketing away from the lights is advanced motoring ;)

put a pic up in the intro section but red fazer 1000 with can and I don't know what other bits! I think it has a fender extender, not sure though! My main thing is I will be looking at tyres soon I think. The rear that is on it is a tad square!

Picked up this wee beast a week ago. Exactly what I was looking for, soaks up bumps, trundles along in top at 30mph, pulls quickly with no silliness, sounds well but doesn't make your ears bleed.

Need to think about new tyres soon so what do people recommend?
