Yokes are r1, forks look to me like 01/02. Devilsyam will tell you exactly. They look well neglected also a weird place for a tax disc.

Sold it well the gen1 anyway, big thanks to Luke for sorting out the sale. I'm a little sad that it's gone and hope that the new owner gets as much pleasure from it as I have. In the three years I owned it never once did it not fail to put a smile on my face. Hopefully I will feel the same about the gen2, the little changes I've made since buying it from noggy are starting to make it feel like my bike instead of one I've borrowed.

I wouldn't, but if you are planning on doing it get yourself a spare lid that way if it don't work out your not up shit creak. If it turns out to be the best thing since sliced bread you can always sell it on.

Good sledgehammer will get rid of them, brandane I'm liking your idea of getting rid of pedestrians, cyclist and zero emission cars. It will free the roads up a bit :lol

Fitted some trimmed flies, reset the suspension to standard hight, changed the bars and took it for a blast.

Only had the gen 2 a week and not had chance to ride it in anger. The gen1 I've had for a while, it's well set up and has never missed a beat. I feel it's time for a change that's why when noggy's bike came up at the right money I bought it. I guess if I sell the gen1 I can always sell the gen2 in the future and get a other gen1.

One of them has to go but I can't make up my mind which. Ride the mk1 today for the 1st time in 2 weeks and loved every minute, but then again the mk2 is lighter and feels a little more sporty. Don't have the funds to keep both :'( thoughts?

Replacing a complete lock set on a 2002 bike with a set from an 03, 03 ignition has 2 wires less than the 02 just need to know what there for and colours. Does anyone have the wiring diagrams of the 02 and the 03 model? Failing that it will be a case of swapping the barrels over.

If your thinking of a gen1 noggy I could bring mine over next Sunday when I pick up the gen2 it's fully sorted viper seat, R6 rear shock, R1 forks, R1 5 spoke wheels, Ivans full Monty fitted by Mike. Will have 12 months mot.

It took me a while to feel at one with my gen 1. I've altered a few things on the bike since I've had it nothing ground breaking but the list so far is gel seat, r1 front end, ivans full monty, r1 five spoke wheels, db screen, stubby pipe, Scott oiler and a 12v/usb socket. The bike came with a r6 shock that was vastly improved by devisyam tweeking the settings.

From the above list the most important mod for me is the gel seat, on a standard seat my ass was dying after 50 miles now I can knock up 400 no problem.

I've had faster bikes but every time I've questioned the gen 1 it's response has been spot on. Touring, scratching, poodling to the shops it's done it all.

Performance wise the bikes more than capable and in the right hands (not mine) can suprize many power rangers on there latest rocket ships.

Bench Grinder and Pillar Drill are two things I couldn't live without :) Next would have to be 4'' grinder, compressor then welder. Even the hardest jobs become bearable if you have the right tools :)

Fantastic stuff mate, nicely done. I had a weekend visiting the v1, v2 and v3 sites on the 1939-44 tour, it was fantastic, and very moving

I really wanted to visit the rocket sites :'( Hopefully maybe in the future I might be able to revisit my original plan and see the sites I missed.

That looks like a great trip. I am planning on visiting the bomb crater near Picardy in August. We have a free afternoon that day to. What would you recommend in the area?

Not sure if its going to be to far for you to travel but one of the places I wanted to visit was La Coupole museum of WW2, Google maps indicates its around 1h 50min from Picardy :)
