About a week ago I saw a post from an old mate on Facebook who I had not heard from for a long while.................




"Blimey, I thought you were dead !!!"  I posted in sarcastic jest.




I should have read a little more closely.


Just found out it was his daughter posting.....................................and yes, he had died that morning !!!!!! :eek

I wouldn't be too ashamed...thats what facebook s for & anyone in their right mind will know that only a real pal would actually say something like that...


Actually ive seen this with a mate who's wife died...he took over her Facebook account and started writing on it as some kind of shrine to her & everyone comments on it now even a year on.....far too foccin airy fairy for my liking & fair enough if thats what folk wanna do...but 6 months in he was gettin pissed off coz he had fraudulent friend requests & it was actually folk selling trainers & stuff.


Personally speaking...when they're gone...they're gone & a facebook account isn't really being honourable to them & if thats what they choose to do then they need to account for these kind of situations.


All that aside....sorry to hear your mate died Dilligaf.

you should be able to edit yoy post from a PC propably not from a phone tho

Click and hold your comment... then delete option will come up.
Then block them fast lol

If you click on your comment a pencil should appear on the right hand side which may have delete in it.  Don't know if the option to edit/delete expires or not.  Instructions from FB here:
