Title: No headlights ???

This may have been covered but if so i can find it  :o so sorry about that in advance.
my 2001 600 fazer has no headlights, the fuse is fine as is the bulbs - help!?! :'(

Damaged wire, corroded earth, or a failed relay or bulb possibly. Do your other lights work? Has it failed on both high-beam and dip?

If you have a multimeter, test for 12V dc at the h/lamp bulbholders; if you have voltage, check your bulbs and their contacts (they can weaken and loosen with age). If there's no voltage there, follow the wiring back to the next connector, and test for voltage there (keep following back until you DO find voltage).

If you're following the above there's a connector block for lights/ indicators etc on the left side fairing under the infill panel, then there's another one in the box under the tank!

Cheers guys, traced it back to a burned out wire in a connector under the petrol tank in the box.

Glad you got it sorted.  I would be looking at what caused the wire to burn out.  Is there anything you think could have caused it?

nope, nothing obvious to cause, all standard lights etc (crap ones) lol - will keep an eye on it ;)
