Title: Headlight Mod
Post by: bbb on 08 September 2013, 11:42:08 am

Did the headlight mod yesterday, very good write-up, bought the connectors from Autostar on ebay (cheap and next day delivery) included a waterproof connector that now sits behind the clocks in case of any MoT issues. Just need to adjust the beams (inner for vertical??) now.

Also ordered a 2.8mm female connector from autostar to replace the blue heatshrink part that should in theory enable me to use the blue connector under the tank.

Considering removing the metal cover over the dipped beam, has anyone had any issues at MoT time with the cover removed?

Cheers

Adjust at night or in a dark garage, it's much easier.
If you mean that metal shroud thingy, they just end up vibrating and either fall off or get removed.
