				I recently replaced my fuel tap as the brass collar had popped out and i did not want to risk just pushing it back in. Bike almost back together but before putting tank back on i wanted to start bike and check all ok. Old fuel tap, some liquid metal and a 99p water bottle have turned into a good auxillary fuel tank. Drilled some holes at 90 degrees to thread in cap so can just crack the lid for venting. Would not store fuel in there for long but looks just the thing for balancing carbs etc..

				Nice, but all i did was turn the tank round and bungee it where the seat normally sits.
 Didn't even need to touch the fuel pipe, it sits perfectly.  :D

 Could you explain more please, as I plan to change and flush the cooant, and replace the air filter whilst im in there. Are you un plugging the pipe - turning tank- re connecting pipe. And do you reconnect the breather and overflow for this too

 Air filter and coolant change, just take tank off completely, there's enough fuel in the system to let the bike tickover for a few seconds to get air bubbles out.
 I turned the tank around when balancing the carbs where you need constant fuel.

				It's a bit cack handed but you need to very carefully swing the tank clockwise so you don't kink the fuel pipe.

				Ok thanks I was worried about the kink.
 Gonna need more than a few seconds as will be flushing coolent (rad flush).
 Dont fancy running the carbs till dry incase anything -float like gets stuck where its never been before without fuel

 While the weather is mild, i would personally leave the Radflush in for 2 days to let it warm up and cool down a few times, i find it works very well.
