Why did i have to crash mine!!!! :'(
Hey chris, do bikes in shetland last a decade with all that sea air?
If so yours is a candidate for the status, but wouldnt you just wanna ride it though instead of it being stuck in the shed.

Mines kept in a heated garage and washed regularly so not too bad but yes, everything rusts much faster here, so much salt in the air that it ruins everything.

mine has been for sale but no takers so i'm seriously thinking of keeping it as a fair weather bike. its in good standard condition with 25000 genuine miles. wife's not impressed tho.

Do it buddy, then you can come out on the next Wales run around mid wales :)
Plus with the added bonus of being able to tell me that mine will never be a classic like yours because it is Ugly & has no fairing & it has too much bling! ;)
Plus if you are ever desperate to sell it at a much cheapness price i will have it, like cash generator except for bikes :b

Not sure it's a future classic though. It does become so, I'd say it will be the first lot with the abominable headlamps.
VFR750FR-V is a certainty. Mid 90's CBR600F is another I'd say.
99/00 R1 for sure.
93-95 ish 900 Speed Triple.
First Bandit 1200's.
