scotchbrite is great stuff for jobs like that, use a fine grade and it will soon look better.

Wipe it off the downpipes before you fire the bike up, a bit of heat and it will stick like foc! :eek

hi all it me again  :rolleyes  well i going to fit it in week or so it look like it will fit without a link pipe to my genuine silencer is that true or do i need a link pipe?
plus do i need a new seal for silencer to the headers (i have got set of seals for the pots)
thanks  ;)

I believe you don't need a link pipe as its incorporated in the silencer on the original can thats why you need a link pipe with after market cans.
If i'm wrong no doubt i'll be abused and you will be notified of the right answer. :)

No link pipe required for that, Skippernick is spot on.

You need a seal as the pipes are a different diameter, the seal is quite thick.
