Title: quick advice needed

selling a car to a trader in 1/2 an hour do I just complete the yellow section of the V5 or section 6 too (new keeper details), the advice on the back is a bit wooly?

I know it is a Must to do two things,


1= fill in the seller(sold) part and you return it to DVLA


2= cancel any insurance you have on the machine straight away

If selling to a trader you just fill in the trader part, keep that and return it to DVLA and give him the rest of the V5.  If he's a trader though he'll know what you are supposed to do.
