				Hello Folks,

I've got a problem with the front left rider's footpeg rotating around further that it ought.

At times its happening when riding and rotating around so far that it ends up essentially upside down, and as a result the peg folds downwards rather than upwards, and collapses under the weight of my foot.

Comparing to the other side a little rotation in the peg seems normal, but the left side rotates way past the slight play found in it's opposite number.

Is this something that case be adjusted? Or is the rotation meant to be limited internally within the part, in which case I guess it's worn and it's a case of replacing the assembly?

Only nut I could see is immediately opposite the peg on inside of bracket, but I'll need to disconnect gear change linkage to access so I thought I'd check here first.

As always all advice and suggestions appreciated.

My right peg doesn't rotate at all, my left one does, but not as much as yours!  :eek

Will be interested to see what the fix is.

It shouldn't rotate at all. You're right there's a big allen head bolt on the back that holds them together. You'll have to take the hanger off, put it in a vice and tighten the bolt. Stick a bit of thread lock on the bolt if you have some.

Ok thanks, will get it sorted in the morning and report back!

				 No problem ;)

Seem to remember having the same problem, when I looked seemed like the nut couldn't tighten enough so I inserted an extra washer to enable a little more pressure that seems to have fixed it of course I used some lock tight not had a problem since

Mine did this exact same thing - as above take it off and tighten and fixes it - will happen again though ><

please you posted this just fixed mine before they fell off....................

Crikey! Haven't quite gotten around to mine yet, just waiting for some blue thread lock to turn up is my excuse hope it holds up today and I'll be good

Just to post the conclusion of this.

I took off the peg but as suggested above a vice was needed to grip it while tightening the nut.

I didn't have one and couldn't figure anything out, so stuck it back on and got it sorted at the mechanics while getting my wheel bearings changed today.

It's ever so nice to be able to rest my left foot again lol ...
