As above 758s in black. Feel real nice but have'nt been out yet.
Struggled to find some small bar ends but got some 15mm alloy MTB that I'm sure I can adapt.
What do you think?

They're good, I've not long done mine.
For bar ends search Ebay for "13mm bar end" and plenty will come up. I went with these little ones:

They look very wide, don't people normally hack some off either side of these!?
-
I've had them on the last two fazers, and they're spot on (unless your a tight squeeze filterer, then you might get the saw out)
A massive comfort difference from the standard bars!
-
Got a full pic of that bike? what colour is it???
-
How do they make such a difference in comfort? Is it just the change in bar position or do the bars cope with vibrations etc better?
-
They have less sweep than the standard bars, and are more 'shoulder width' meaning for me a bit better control.

its prob the picture. they are only about an inch and a half wider each side than normal, just like putting your hand over the original bar end.

i havent tested them on the open road yet but they feel much more natural to me in the garage, but then again I was hoping for that.

Hmmm, I wonder what they'd be like cut down to the same width as the standard bars - I quite like that the narrowness as I filter a lot through London. That would negate the effect of having wider bars but I wonder if the reduced sweep would still make for an improvement? They look so much better than the standard chrome jobbies and I'm sure would hold up to a drop much better too...

the bars are'nt as wide as the mirrors so unless your bashing your mirrors off everything you should be ok.

One of the massive benefits of our beloved fzs600 is its narrowness, and especially being able to fold back the springy mirrors making us even narrower, as a despatch rider it's one of the best big bikes for filtering around London available!

I've wanted to change my bars for such a long time, but every time I think I'm about to get round to it something more important comes up... One day. Looks nice anyway, mine is silver too and I was planning on going for the black 758's so at least now I know what they will look like :)

I have those in grey, I cut mine down so the levers are upto the bend..
There great

CANT BELIEVE U DIDNT STOP

here's my new ones against my old ones (with bar ends) for comparison, they aint massively wider especially if I only get end plugs instead of weights.

I have bar end mirrors on mine 2 and filtering just needs a bit more care
