Always helpful if you list what year of bike you have in your profile, but i'd imagine they're all the same. (no.25 & no.14, but they are the same bolt and part number)

You can find the size and thread pitch from the workshop manual and then just buy them on eBay - I did this recently for the two rear caliper mounting bolts :)

The download is here http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=8 (http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=8)

The Front Brake caliper bolts should be M8 x 1.25

Unfortunately it doesn't show length BUT that is by far the easiest thing to measure :P Just remember that length is from the base of the bolt head to the end of the thread (so basically doesn't include the bolt head)

Because i recently change them, the bolts are M10 x 1.25. The manual says M8 but its wrong.
I used 10.9 metric(which is 8 grade american).DOnt use soft bolts there! ;)
Hope it helps! :)

Don't these bolts have to be of a certain tensile strength?

Really? I thought the rear were M10 and the fronts M8 especially since they take a different socket - at least that's the case on my bike :|

I'll check in a minute as I'm working in the garage today on the bike anyways :)

Don't want to harp on about this, but I think it's actually pretty important. I believe the torque settings on these bolts are quite high, that's one reason for the tensile rating requirement. Also, if I remember right, they need to be Loctited in place when you refit them.

Nick,
If i remember well the oem bolts are 8 grade, wich is the equivalent of 10.9 in metric system.
Of cource we can use titanium bolts :D  but the price is prohibitive. :'(

I just wanted to be sure that people don't just use any old bolts as the discussion here seemed to be more about sizes with no mention of other requirements. I know you'd already mentioned this mars696, but wanted to make sure people picked up on it. I've got nothing better to do, sorry!

Well, my results were unhelpful... I forgot that the previous owner was a bit mad and so I have three different sized hex bolts holding my calipers on - 1x 14mm, 1x 13mm and 2x 12mm

If nothing else, my bike has character...

No need to Loctite them, if they're torqued correctly they're going nowhere.
