We need it back in my opinion. I have no objection to rude jokes and swearing, but the use of the 'c' word in general I do find offensive.
Sorry...get it back in the naughty corner. It's making the site look bad.

It's right there at the bottom of the forums list!
But I agree: funny as the puncture rant was, it could have gone in the right place rather than having an "18" in the title.
Perhaps a word to Farjo will see it relocated.

The jokes should go in thenaughty corner too really. I just feel sorry for anyone just surfing the site for the first time. they'll think we're......well....they'd have the right idea :lol but that's not the point!!

I'll happily move it to the Naughty Corner if it's causing offence folks, but compared to some of my rants on the Yuku site that was distinctly PG rated.
Think this is maybe something us Admods need to have a wee chat about, to the admod section Batman!

I'm not offended, I just think it looks a bit bad on the site :( The 'c' word is particularly nasty. There are ladies on the site you know! I know most men wouldn't use that word in front of their mother ;-)
While I have admin attention, can we have an answer re the photography comp camera icons please? Alot have asked, but none have been answered? :)

Lol, I've never won the comp, but I think it's unfair that some that have, have been missed, then when they've asked, they've been ignored. Even now I've brought it up, it's still ignored.

Could you please withdraw this remark as it is not true and I find the suggestion of corruption offensive.
As for the flashy camera, it was something that Chalky did when he was running the competition, but that I have not continued - you'll see that the prize for winning does not include it. Perhaps all the old ones should be removed for fairness?

Yes, that would be a bit unfair :lol Maybe like Brazil in 1970 you should keep the trophy having won it 3 times?

Something by way of a custom title for photo comp winners would be nice... but perhaps just one, no matter how many times a member has one otherwise those who win most will end up with titles that take an age to scroll past.
Even better would be a hall of fame in the Media folder with all the winning photos. :)

You're welcome to remove my post. If the question had been answered simply, like it has now, rather than avoided, it wouldn't have offended anyone?

I have to own up to enjoying use of the "C" word. I use it sparingly, and not gratuitously, when no other word will do as a short, sharp verbal jab in the coupon. Used in this fashion, I do use it in front of my mother. But then she was a psychiatric nurse, and broad minded. Words, are simply, words. If I appended a photo along with the "C" word, now that would be deemed offensive, and should be in the naughty corner, but otherwise, it smacks of censorship.
A casual visitor to the site can take a flying fuck if they're offended that easily in 2011... :rolleyes
