just found these on ebay in America, it seems you can get pattern intakes for the fazer 1000

Just had a look and it looks like yamahas prices have gone down, last year they were about £60 each bit now they are £36 each do not too expensive

Genuine Yamaha intake stubs are around $30 from Yamaha online dealers in the USA.  Cheaper than the ebay option, assuming equal P&P costs. :)

That's amazing Mike. Just goes to show, its always worth a check on the Yamaha official site.
