Title: fork seals question
Post by: solorider on 24 June 2013, 04:55:30 pm
are the fork seals on the fazer thou a big job or does everything come apart easily? as usual Haynes and the genuine manual don't help a great deal, it has been a few years since I last fitted fork seals

If you've done fork seals before you won't find anything to phase you with these. :)

managed to fit the seal today, all I can say is I'm glad my partner bought a compressor and a air gun, I managed to loosen the bottom bolt without it but I could not stop the centre part from turning, on stripping the bike one of the front mudguard bolts snapped and I had to on both front bolts use a pair of grips as the Phillips head just rounded straight away. but at least the bike is ready for Thursday.
