Looks good - I particularly like the design on the fairing - paint or decals?

lol an absolute pain!, one sheared off and one completely buggered the thread, luckily the guy that painted the wheels was able to rethread them.

probolt oil cap, braided brake lines, beowulf can, clear indicator lenses, what have i missed?
Painted wheels, wavey discs, number board on the front, new chain and sprocket (i know you cant see that) cut the back undertray up a bit and got new number plate, screen, bar ends, top plate on brake oil resevoir, blue bolts in petrol cap, i think thats it  :lol

Thanks for all the nice comments, i am really pleased with the result so far, i must get the crash bungs on before i drop it!! and the seat will go up to a man in Scotland to recover with basket weave and blue piping and to lower it about an inch.  :D  i think its a bit like having a tattoo...it gets addictive.....and bloody expensive  :eek

Had the same thought for my wheels don't really want polished rims so thought about a bright silver.

You're right about the colour!!  like the wheels particularly, does the can make much difference?

If you mean performance, the can was pretty much done straight away so really not enough time to tell, sounds good though, nice throaty sound without being offensive ;)

Obsession   (n)
1. Preoccupation: an idea or feeling that completely occupies the mind, eg: "His obsession with colour led him to having the completely mistaken belief that blue bikes are faster"
2. The uncontrollable persistence of an idea or emotion in the mind, sometimes associated with psychiatric disorder, eg:delusions of blue equating to high speed.

If you buy an R6 shock (v good upgrade) and keep the std dog bones you'll get the inch lower seat height without altering the seat.
Improved handling with same seat and get the seat done at a later date.
Just a thought.

Well the damping might be better, but with the seat an inch lower you'll have the steering nimbleness of something like the Titanic!

The seat is away being done at the moment, but with NO lowering as I didn't want to change my leg angle....but I am confused by the last posts, are you saying the R6 shock doesn't work?? That is on my list of things to do lol  :rolleyes

Or as I said, you can keep the std dog bones with the R6 shock, which will lower seat height, (ok should have added this) then drop the forks by 10 mm and you will still have a fine handling bike. :)

OOH Loz
Where did you get the seat done? And can i be cheeky and ask how much?

If you search 'seller' on ebay under 'tophills' you will find him.
I have used this guy, Jimmy, on about 4 occassions now he is in Falkirk, you can either buy a seat from him or do what i do which is to send him my seat (costs about a fiver with Hermes) tell him what you want, i.e mine was to add a foam comfort pad, keep same seat height, recover in basket weave with blue piping and add the fazer and yamaha logo and the cost was £90 + £13pp, usually takes less than a week  :D  he has always done a brilliant job for us on all our bikes in the past  :thumbup if you cant find him on ebay i will didg out his email address.
