Title: Double bubble screen on boxeye fazer
Post by: Dcock on 13 June 2013, 04:39:52 pm
Hi, i was wondering if anyone around 5ft10 has fitted a double bubble screen on there boxeye fazer and noticed any reduction in air smacking them in the face? Is it worth it?
Thanks,
                 Dan.

I got a F.Fabbri one from a mate from this board. I am 187cm and it helps to keep my neck free of mosquitos. It is higher so I can train my chihuahua to stay inside the tankbag easier.

I is 5ft 9 and have fitted a OEM tourer flip up that is better for my riding style and is less turbulence but it does not stop the wee beasties eating their own shit on impact.

I have a home made vario , similar to above, This is very effective on my 600, a proper vario on my thou doesen't do much.
my inlaw has a db on his foxeye 600, he recons its better than standard, but i've not ridden it. we are both about 5ft 7 ins

I've had 3 boxeyes, 2 of which have sported d/b screens. My current bike has a standard screen, and its crap in comparison. I'm 6'1" and the bubble screens keep the wind in the right place, just under your lid. I'm after a d/b for my current fazer if there's any going cheap. ;D
