I like the ones that think its street wise to go on a bike thats capable of over 150mph weights near 200kg has exhausts that melts plastic burns skin on contact , and wears flip flops, shorts and if wer'e lucky a Tshirt !  smart or what !

at the end of the day she had the right to say no ! her skin ! her life ,

edited for spelling OOPS !

When I take a pillion, I offer them a minimum of a spare armoured jacket, spare gloves and spare lid. If it's a longer trip, I make them wear my spare trousers too. Which can be funny if the passenger is 5ft 6 (I'm 6ft 3).

It has blue on it as well which makes it really slow, silver speeds it up.

Gonna start calling you lot ' The Rainbow Warriors ' with your obsession with colour.

Oops, should've said " their body, their choice " this also applies to those who wear badly fitting gear, cos it's the muttz  :\

Not obsessed with colour myself, but in my opinion, that pillion will be just fine - in my experience, blue ones are more likely to crash...

They look to be in a built-up area so 30 mph max, I know it still hurts at that speed, what about cyclists who do that speed and more when going down hill and what do they wear? or as my mate calls them "perverts in lycra" not to be confused with "perverts in leather" lol.

A friend of my dads has an R1 turbo, he takes his son out on it. I first saw him on the back when he was about 7 or 8. He had a leather belt that tied him to his dad who said "Well I don't want him falling off the back now do I?" Absolute insanity!:-\

that's mad  my son is nearly 8  he is just getting big enough to sit on the bike but the thought of taking him on there without proper protection fills me with dread and there's no way I would do it !

that sort of stupidity should be a criminal act  ! in my mind its far worse than doing over 100mph on a public road ! and  if you can be prosecuted  for your passenger not having a seat belt ( front of the car ) then this should have the same sort of repercussion's or worse

What a dickhead.

I go for a ride. Thrash it round local hill bends. Full leathers. Then pick up lady friend and cruise to a nice beach balcony for a beer. I'm in full leathers, she's just got a helmet.... though she looks better than THAT one.  :)

Greetings from another dickhead. Cheers!    :sun

So you don't give her your jacket or gloves for the ride?

That's what I do when I take people on the back who don't have their own kit.

That's actually a good idea - I'd rather give my pillion all my gear (if needs must) and have myself unprotected than them. In reality I doubt I'd ever be in that position and I'd have us both wearing full gear :P

Took my daughter  aged 9 for her first spin on a bike down to the shops made her wear helmet, gloves, protected jacket ,trousers wouldn't fit ,even thou it was only 2 miles down the road on the back of a 125 Honda s-wimg,and the gear didn't fit proper but better to have some protection than leave her hands and leg skin on the road if ever we have a spill

But if you are out on the pull you don't know what size woman you are going to end up with do you?  I mean if you get lucky early in the night she'll be slim and lovely - so you'd need the size 10 leathers and medium spare lid/gloves.

If you don''t get lucky until later in the night you'll have had a few beers and end up with a wildebeast, the size 10 leathers will be a bit embarrassing.

If you don't get lucky before kicking out time then the beer goggles / desperation will play a part and you might need the best part of a rhino hide and an upturned boat for her head.

So do you all go out with multiple spare safety kit 'just in case'?

No, I'm a dickhead and my leathers are one-piece suit. Just take it slower, easier.

Yeah, but think of the fun you'll have trying to squeeze her into them... :evil

Or you don't get lucky at all and you end up looking like a knob  carting all this spare kit around.

So you ride home tanked up with a girl who doesn't have a helmet to wear?

If I'm out on my bike & pull and I don't have kit I get a taxi. But then again I don't go out drinking when I'm on my bike.

Actually, you should try riding home out of your head on crack with an unconscious naked call girl on the back...now that's tricky! :lol
