French ATC strike is affecting flights today but hopefully all will be back to normal tomorrow. Please keep a close eye on e-mails, guys, because if I have to postpone or cancel, that will be my first line of comms.
However, if you hear nothing from me to the contrary, assume that all is well and that I am on time and in the place you expect me to be on the day!
Cheers!

I hope all will be ok :'(

dohhhh!!! :lol

I can - 'hand on heart' say getting my bike ivanised transformed it from a slightly woolly throttle response to a sharp and precise one. The bike feels as if it's come alive. I have to be honest when i say i bought mine brand new and was slightly disappointed because it felt like a honda! Did everything smoothly and revved with no massive kick in the pants, but after ivanising it became like a free revving nutter with a sweet powerband and loads more grunt in the midrange, absolutely amazing. Still own it after 9 years... Nuff said. ENJOY :D Ps.. Mikes a genius Pps send the cheque Mike.. :lol
-
You're all just winding me up cos I missed out this time...sulk :(
-
Mikes a genius Pps send the cheque Mike.. :lol
No cheque, Nick, 'cos the genius is Ivan.
I just got good at fitting 'em. Practice, see? ;)
-
Damn! I was hoping you would pay for my new bits! Honestly folks you couldn't get a better chap to make your bike sooooo much better. :)
-
Mike
Your backside must be looking more like the Isle of Man flag with each post :lol
Hope the weather is kind to you all and welcome to the IVF Club!

Hi all,
Looking good, I hope. Outbound flight from Stansted to Murcia appears to be on schedule so fingers crossed that there's no other spanners in the works to come.

Hi all i had my bike done on Saturday. just the slip on with std can BUT OMG
and WAW what a difference it makes :eek .
rode up the midlands 134 mile's and ride home was 160 miles in the rain!
so i had a really good ride, bike is smoother, bike starts much easier, pick up is there from near idle speed. fuel consumption is really great 160 miles on just over 3/4 of a tank of fuel so work that one out :b but i did not really push it 70- 80mph because of the weather.
If there is anybody thinking of this mod it is a must, and i would not hesitate in doing it BUT get it done professionally.
mike is a really great guy and very professional , his knowledge of the fazer is outstanding and he is a genius in his own right. I would like to thank the host Nic of the venue and the 3 other lads who i met a really nice bunch of lads.
Rich can you PM me for more details on your shock please.
again thank you mike for working on my bike.

Had the Full Monty on Saturday too and very pleased indeed. How to describe it:
- more instant drive from the bottom. So much so, that I had to re-learn the feel of the throttle (no problem though) around town.
- smoother
- Seems to rev quicker and much less lazy than before
- Raging top end now, whereas before I felt it was lacking
Very, very pleased. Thanks Mike - you made it look so easy. Also great to meet fellow Fazer thou users and thanks to the lad who's garage we used.

Hi all, I am new on the site and decided to add to this thread. Mike has just done the “full monty” on my Gen 1 (Blue now the even faster colour!!!), what a top bloke, this man knows his stuff, mega professional and a nice guy as well (he brought 10 BHP in a suitcase to my house!!!)
All the things that have been said about this mod are true with all the benefits as discussed on this forum so if you get the chance on Mike’s next visit get yer wallet out and pay the man.
Thanks a ton Mike I hope that you got home OK.
-
Thanks, everyone. :)
Got back home here just after midnight yesterday, tired but happy to leave 13 'new' Fazer owners in my wake. ;) Everyone clearly very chuffed with the outcome of the 'Ivanising' which makes me well-chuffed, too.
Big thanks to Gary, Nick, Jimmy & Paul, and Mike yesterday for providing me with facilities to work out of and to all of you who made the journey to meet up with me. I'll need a day or two to catch up with my work here and then I'll get on with investigating the things some of you asked, like R1 shift linkage and Pipercross cleaning kits.
Right, who's next .... ???? :)

Mike,
Thanks again glad you got home safe. was great to watch you work your magic now just to get that dreaded EXup off !! :'( Also anyone who is thinking 'should i ' get ivanised ? just do it !!
Paul.
-
thanks mike and thanks mike for the use of your garage, well chuffed with the bike, its running great massive improvement on a already good bike :D thanks again :) :)
-
There can't be many still left in the UK not Ivanised, surely!
-
mike tells me there are 3000 fazer's in the uk and he has done 500 i think he said so he has a bit to go yet.
-
really hope you keep making the trip over mike,, that full monty tune up is awesome
-
I hope we can get more Scottish fockers lined up so mike can do a Scottish trip this year, or even early next year.
Just upgraded from a fzs600 to a thou in April and would love to get ivanised.
-
If I can get enough interest, I would be happy to look at making another trip in mid-September, to the north of England and Scotland in particular.
Drop me an e-mail if you'd like to know more. That's e-mail, not PM via the forum, please ... mikegreatorexAThotmail.com :)
Cheers!
