Title: fazer not reving

can any one help with this problem my fazer hunts and will not rev passed 10,000rpm,i have taken the carbs off and given them a good clean all seems ok, starts and runs fine up to 10,000

What symptoms do you get at 10k rpm?

What gear does this happen in?

What's the year and mileage of the bike?

Any mods?

Is it French? I believe they're restricted to 100bhp which might explain it. I doubt they rev out with the restriction in place

thanks for the reply falcon 269 the symptoms at 10000 revs are holding back I am in 3rd/4th gear I have no mods fitted

Maybe the rev limiter kicking in a bit early?

Looks very much like a restricted French model.
What is the under seat code?
