It's not the camera that takes the pics, it's who's holding it and what they do with it :)

I think a good camera will make a good picture better, but thinking about it the better the photographer the more likely they are to have spent on better equipment?

Ever heard the phrase 'All the gear no idea' (That's me lol) or 'You can't make a silk purse from a pigs ear' I think it's more having a good 'seeing eye'. Yes, good gear helps, but some of the best photos can be taken on iphones or entry level dslrs :) I think this comp has proved that, there's been some stunners :)

All my pics are taken on an iphone, I find if you have plenty of sunlight the pics from a mobile phone can be quite surprising  :)
