Well now that I've had a brief shot of the 750, I couldn't help but notice that the thing wants to drop as soon as you put any, and I mean any, bias to one side. Is this a hazard of a 160 kilo bike with clip ons? Its mondo bizarro and gonna take a bitty gettin used tae.
Is that the way these sporty bikey things are, is it?

It might be worth checking it's not jacked up alot at the rear or the forks pulled up through the yokes. With ZX7R's 10mm more rear ride height and pulling the forks through the yokes by 5mm make them steer alot faster

You'll get used to it, then when used to it and taking corners faster just because the bike will feels right you'll realise why so much is spent on test riders and R&D.
Then when it comes to changing tyres you'll go through the same thoughts all over again until you're used o how they feel!

Aye man, it just feels totally alien to the fazer, like spinning top.
Not gonna happen this weekend anyhow which is just as well cos I haven't rode for months and a 200 mile jaunt to yorkshire on an unfamiliar maxhine amd style might not be the best idea just yet

Changing the preload might be a start drop the rear and / or raise the front. Tyres also make a difference - BT-023's on mine made the steering really slow compared to Metzler M5's.
Found the steering is more sensitive than an FZS600 but also found with more weight going through the bars, due the riding position, also give better front end feedback.
