Hi folks
Just got back from a luverly spin around Wiltshire, gonna give the bike a mega clean tomorrow,
I want to get the oil off my nice gold wheels and bring the sparkle :D back. Whats the best thing to use to get the oil from the chain off the wheels?

WD 40 ? never thought of that, thanks :)

Yep it will also get grass Staines off your jeans and grease/oil off your t-shirts.

Wd40, or get yourself a cheap can of engine degreaser for a couple of quid.

Again with wd40 but you must degrease and clean after.
Wd40 leaves a coating on the surface which will attract all dirt and oil very quickly, I used to spray it on my number plate before we were allowed in bus lanes because it makes the number plate filthy within a week of normal riding, naughty me!

Blimey don't time fly.
Thanks for the tips guys, did as suggested and the wheels came up luverly :)
'corse I've been out since then so I am going to have to do it all over again :(
Oil coming of the chain is a bit of a pain, I think I had better give that a good clean before I do the wheels again.
Any suggestions on best way/product to clean the chain?

Wurth wax all the way and their wheel cleaner (spray can) is great too :)

maybe you might want to look into sealing your wheels as well with a high durability hybrid sealant like fk1000p. the dirt will wash off with normal shampoo for a few months afterwards until you re-apply.
for degreasing things like chains etc I can recommend Bilt Hamber Surfex HD degreaser. great trade product which is diluteable for various applications.
