What an absolute beauty-takes me back to 1959 when as 11 year olds we could only dream of Rocket Gold Stars, Bonnies Vincents etc :'( :lol

Hi lovely bike, even in the early 70's they were becoming expensive , I did have a cafe race rocket with the rrt2 box though , I can still smell the clutch now

Interesting site and a nice bike, but this is more me especially as I have two 550 fours to do up one day, when I have the time.

One of each the K had 4 into 4 exhaust and f is a super sport with 4 into 1 exhaust.

Yes I remember them well.  I had one friend with a 500 four L reg 4 pipes I had the 400 f2 lfu450r and a friend of a friend had the  550f I think is  was an r plate you could go out for a ride just to listen to the sound track as the 500 had a piper 4-1 and I had an Alpha 4-1 with the larger baffle fitted as it came with two sizes. Oh well happy days. :)
