Just an idea but what about a full length mirror and a measuring stick and a camera?

I a Rural dweller to, only thing I can suggest is supporting the  bike from both sides somehow. I'm on a farm so when I come to set mine up, I 'll rig up something with the forklift supporting the bar ends
