Won't find any piss takers in here officer.
When you go a spin now will you be saying "I'm gonna bounce" ;)

after a 600 the tigger will feel like a beast........but be prepared for the suspension.
it was on my maybe list until i rode one. competent, safe, predictable at sane speeds and a hoot with an open pipe.
have fun.

Been nosing around the Tiger forums for a while, there's quite a lot of useful stuff on there, but hardly any piss-taking :z
There are a lot of Americans on there, not that I mind Americans generally, but their humour is shall we say, a little different from ours ;)

I agree, the info is all great but the piss taking is almost non existent, this forum is far superior in that respect, enjoy the tiger, they are great bikes, tall though, awesome engines too

They are tall, might have to dig out me old platformed boots :lol
-
Did the tiger thing myself, and here I am again on a fazer.
Tune the bugger up and they really go like the clappers, but you'll need some serious suspension money spending on it, as the standard susp is terrible! Rear spring is the right weight for a 11 stone rider :(

You obviously need more practise posting! :lol

A friend of mine has a Tiger 955i. Pretty smart looking, although the stickers on the left side of the tank are bubbling despite her best efforts to eliminate them. It's a big, comfy bike. When her son gets his VFR800 de-restricted, he's going to have to start hiding his keys!! :lol :lol
-
Yeah the tigers do that, the petrol fumes seep through the plastic and bubbles the paint.
-
What?!?!!
Seriously?
-
You kept that quiet!
That mean we've got a new Trumpet to put on the fire this year then?
;)

Tiberius, Check the Tiger forum, you will get plenty info there, oh dont smoke close by either!!!! :evil

He's taking the piss (I think). The bubbly paint on my friend's tank is due to condensation - the bike was kept on the sidestand in a cold garage. And with all the rain we've had this winter, humidity levels have been horrific.

ChrisoT, you can check the tiger forum too, its a "characteristic" of the Tiger

Fair enough, I withdraw my "taking the piss" comment. There's no odour of petrol around my friend's 955i, and the bubbling is only on one side. I guess the jury's still out on that one....
