As some of you know i do a lot of work with the Royal British Legion Riders Branch and this year i'm doing the Rblr 1000 which is a endurance motorbike ride of 1000 miles in 24hrs.

Enter yourself for the iron butt club while you're at it  ;)  pretty sure that's their trademark.

Three questions:

1) Paying for your own fuel?
2) Where are you doing it?
3) Want a road mate? I'd be well up for it (if fuel is covered. I'm skint)!

Work are paying for fuel

A mate of mine did it last year (northern route, clockwise). He said it was an incredible experience but very tiring - had to pull over somewhere north of the border for a snooze on a park bench. I'd like to do it myself and I was intending to do it last year but couldn't raise enough funds to get the bike up to standard to take on 1000 miles.


Again, best of luck, and get some bum cushioning.  :D
