Title: garmin route problems

I've got a Garmin nuvi 250w with 2gb card all maps are on the main memory of the nuvi and the card is empty ,maps on the nuvi work fine(2012 maps) but im using basecamp to make the routes, the basecamp recognise the nuvi and the card so I've sent the route to the card using Garmin/route on the card as the file but when I go into the nuvi when all unplugged from the computer  the nuvi doesn't seem to find my new route im looking in the favorites app on the nuvi but apart from my home address theres nothing there what am I doin wrong as the route is a gdx file?
is the file on the card wrong ie garmin/route

just found out it dosent do route planning  :'(

I used to have one of them, the way I got round it was to set things as waypoints or favorites on the device itself. this is time consuming but does work.
I think you can also set them with mapsource and upload them to devices.

While I think about it I have the latest unlocked Garmin 2013.40 UK maps. if you would like them PM me and I will send you a link to them on my dropbox account.

thanks fuzz but looking more into it i just have the wrong satnav waypoints didnt work so ive got a new one comming 30 day trial bluetoothe etc for £50 4.3" screen too  :lol

Ahh cool. Another Garmin? I am a Garmin whore I will admit. now on my 5th lol. Have a Zumo 220 on the bike and a 1390T in the car.
