Having had a bit of fun on the French side of the channel for a couple of days, we arrived back in Portsmouth last night in what is best described as a monsoon.
 
Only after 15 miles did I discover that my waterproof trousers were not waterproof and after getting home (another 55 miles) discovered what North Sea Syndrome really is :rollin
 
Note to self, get some Nikwax or some plastic pants before the next trip!

Just be thankful it wasn't snowing...  :eek

Some friends lent me some waterproof trousers to wear under the kit - not field tested yet, but should keep wedding tackle warm at least...
