Might just be me getting comfortable on the bike but it just feels a bit sluggish low end at the moment.
Took a couple of goes, like five, to start it the other day to.
revving in neutral between 1-4k is just lazy and not very snappy, suppose carb'd four strokes dont win the trump card in this instance anyway but still.
I think some planned maintenace and checks are in order, unless anyone has a better idea, i was thinking of looking at the air filter, fuel filter and plugs as a starting point.

Start with air filter.

From what i read they run rich as standard...
As darrsi says the air filter is a good bet,i jus got a k&n,fitted like a glove & the bike seems gruntier with it.
In my tiny pea brain it seems to make sense, running rich, give it more air to compensate 8)

I know what you mean, I'm a bit that way myself after a heavy lunch. :\
Sorry, not very helpful. ;)

Have a check of the TPS setting, if it's out DONT move it get the carb balance checked first.
