"Farquhar, a retired painter, eventually pulled over as they reached the centre of the town but McPhee refused to pull over.
He carried on into residential town centre streets lined with houses, Stobcross, Wellgate, Robert Street and Spink Street, still going at up to 100mph.
McPhee, a forklift driver, then mounted a pavement in Helen Street and rode between parked cars. He was eventually stopped by cops when his route was blocked by a police patrol car."
Failing to stop and still hitting well over the legal limit, no jail term... Madness. This story should be kept in your mind if you ever get stopped for speeding, you can claim 3 pints and £60 is excessive considering these outcomes. (Not that it will work)
