Knocked up a nice 75 miler and in the process dropped my average mpg from 50 to 46 (I'm getting in to the swing of this :-).
My route was Market Harborough -> Melton Mowbray -> Bingham -> Syston and A47 back to Market Harborough.
Put a big smile on my face. £9.37 in fuel well spent.
Did you go out today ?, what was your route ?

Did about 150 ish miles with a group of guys on various bikes ranging from Fazer thou, BMW gs1200, Tiger 1050, a Mille streetfighter, and my fz1.
Went to Glasson dock, then to Lancaster, on to Windermere, kirkstone pass, A6 to shap, then back through Lancaster, and home to Blackpool.
A truly mint day out. Threw up the foc-u salute a few times, but no replies unfortunately!

saturday was better weather than sunday, but around 9 degrees.I am scrubbing in tyres on both my bikes, so did about 250 miles this weekend.
Love the feel of new tyres!
I have a local runaround southam and banbury which is mostly B roads, but very flowing. That was saturday srun,....... Did the B6047 yesterday, after a refreshment stop at Uppingham. I do recommend the burger van there, he does great tea, and great rolls too. Not greasy , very clean place. Its a regular stop for me as its a superb ride from Rugby across country.Highly recommend the road from Market Harborough to Uppingham, going through Medbourne. Cracking road with some excellent views too.

I enjoyed good weather on sunday, but on the half a horsepower bicycle. :)
Fuel cost me around 10 euros (lots of beer and sandwitches). It was a nice day. :)

Too much salt on the roads for my liking. 40 hilly miles on the push bike as well for me.
