New car? Colour me interested ^^

Mine is at a garage having work done... thankfully it's not as bad as I thought and it isn't going to cost anywhere near as much as the bike did *phew*

After much deliberation I bought the Skoda Citigo SE Greentech in metallic blue. ( 3door, manual, petrol 60ps)

No road tax

No congestion charge

High MPG

Low insurance

Basically a VW with an Audi engine.

Tootled around and did 50 miles yesterday and can't fault it so far.   :car

Yes we do :D

The parts actually have the vw/audi symbols on them dont you know, quick peek at the struts-VW

My skoda's bullet proof...apart from the exhaust system, like most new diesels as previously mentioned,1st year-exhaust temp sensor,2nd year exhaust pressure sensor, once it's outtta warranty it'll eventually be getting the exhaust taken back to basics,no need for them to be so complicated, rip out the DPF,take out silly sensors, get a remap...problems solved!!! 8)

Probably because of my age, but I haven't hit the stage of buying a car for its convenience and versatility factor yet... the Skoda sounds very good on paper, but at this stage I just would never own one. I'm quite happy with my MG ZS Saloon with its lovely 2.5 Litre V6 guzzling fuel and putting a stupid grin on my face :D

Eh don't knock the old MG's. I had a ZR td for 7 years, put over 50k on it without missing a beat. I even tuned the bugger to about 150 bhp. It was like an oil burning rocket!

Bah, all you haters :P It's a good car, I won't argue that Rovers of old have had issues, but MG did well with their "remakes" and it looks a lot better than the old Rover 45 its based on :P

The other great thing is that its very underrated which means it was cheap as hell to pickup - I paid £465 for the car and £100 for a 2nd hand gearbox which I fitted myself :D
