don't buy it now that I posted it ;-)
Any opinions on if an 04 hugger will fit on an 00 bike ?
The chain guard holes looks like they'd fit, but the two holes at the back do not have matching holes on my bike.

Its doubtfull, but could be made to fit quite easily I suspect.

You reckon the mod would be more than dremmeling off the rear bolt tabs ?

Comparing them side by side, it appears as though the swing arm on the fazer might be slightly thinner than the new fazer, It looks as though the 04 hugger would touch the tire?

No worries, just my opinion though.

Not the same at all. 04 bikes were the Euro Fazer FZ6, not FZS600.
And you need a pre 02 hugger as well. Conveniently, I have one for sale
