be very carefull fitting stainless bolts etc to safty critical items like brakes as they might shear! the originals are high tensil for a reason!

in 34 years of riding i have seen an abundance of stainless and titanium used in this area with no probs, maybe go with titanium as i do understand the potential probs with s/s

Re disc bolts i did a refurb of my wheels last year and treated myself to a set of Black Shadow discs obviously i wanted new bolts as the stock ones go really shitty unfortunately i went for the pro-bolt option and they cost me an arm and a leg also i had issues with deliveries and incorrectly sent goods ,however i cocked a couple up as i had to take the rear disc off as it was the wrong one another bloody row with the black shadow disc man,so now i need a couple of new bolts and realised i always used to use my local fastener company so off i went with a sample of said bolt the nice informed man took a quick look and said what grasde s/steel do youy require i told him that they were to fix discs on with and so provided me with grade 8 s/steel the highest quality and 35p ea later i was off i wished i had remembered this company i would have saved a fortune, they are based in the Black country so if anyone needs there number let me know they are called west Bromwich fasteners i do believe they have a web site and they do anything in fasteners.

I have used Wemoto for many items including Stainless Disc bolts and have found them good to deal with.
Click on the relevant link below for your model and then scroll to the brake discs section.
