Title: Exhaust Stud Torque Settings??
Post by: Skippernick on 11 January 2013, 07:58:40 pm
Hi all.

As the title suggests what are the torque settings please? I'm guessing not a lot about 20nm?

Many thanks
Nick

A little bit of confusion here
Down pipe to Cylinder head is a M6 nut and requires 10Nm torque. (Fit new gaskets)
Joint between the down pipes and the end can is a M8 bolt and requires 20Nm torque

Thats it down pipe to cylinder block so 10nm sounds right which is basically hand tight.
thanks all.

So it's 10Nm for the stud into the head, and also 10Nm for the nut onto the stud?
