Title: Tank scuffs
Post by: alexanderfitu on 08 January 2013, 02:47:38 pm
Hi all

I was having a look at the bike today and I have some scuffs on the bottom of the fuel tank at the front where my jacket has been rubbing :( They arent bad just some surface scuff. I have some transparent plastic on its way, but was wondering what the best way to get rid of them is?

Thanks all

depends how bad they are but t cut,g range farcle cutting compound, brasso, tooth paste or and mild abrasive 'polish' then a good decent wax(i use autoglym as i find it stunning but there is cheaper versions) a tank protector will help stop some of the scuffs from zips etc

hmm OK I will give T-Cut a go, they really arent bad at all, but ruin an otherwise perfect tank :)
