Here's the Rules:
1 - All challenges must be of YOUR bike and a landmark, or something obscure or creative, something most people can ride to or find in their area.
2 - Picture has to be taken after challenge is made.
3 - Challenge is good for a week, if it is not met, the previous picture poster picks a new challenge.
4 - Nothing illegal to be challenged.
5 - Keep comments to a minimum, if you comment, post the current challenge after your comment.
6 - No repeat challenges.
7 - No other bikes can be used in a challenge, ie. your bike next to a Ducati. Some exceptions allowed, ie. your bike next to a bike cop.
8 - Only 1 person can win each challenge, any other entrants will not be counted due to throwing the whole game off track and adding challenges that don't stand.
Examples - "Your motorcycle next to fork lift truck", "Your motorcycle on a football pitch", "Your motorcycle next to a lighthouse", "Your motorcycle next to a firetruck" etc. Doesn't need to be a fancy picture, cell phones, whatever works.
Thanks guys. Remember, this thread is supposed to get guys to WANT to go ride right away and beat his friend to the picture challenge, be creative, but have limits. Thanks and let me know what you think!
PS people who complete a challenge will get a point, points and scores will be tallied up after a week on as close to depending on how many challenges are completed.

nope, cant ride/drive. i only did it on the 14th Dec. according to the surgeon it could take up to a year or so before i can ride/drive again :o

never mind breaking the law (classic tune that!) thats as close to the beach I would go without getting stuck in the sand!!!
pity a) my bikes off the road till march/april,,, I know I'm fair weather biker,,,
b) I'm stuck in work all week anyway
c) dont have a digital camera at the moment as mine has disappeared!!
but enjoying this thread, hope it will continue into nice weather and also will be slow enought for me to go out for a ride , take a picture, get back upload picture before the challange has moved on to many times.
hmm may have to succumb to one of those smart phone thingys rather than my Nokia brick.

You should have stood your bike on some beech planks or a female mexican dog and might have got points for being a smart arse.

I wanna challenge the challenge....... The challenge was `on a beach` and has been refused as its not actually ON the beach. I think it only fair that it is accepted, as the challenge `on a dry road` was accepted when quite clearly the bike was parked on the pavement NEXT to the dry road!! :bOK then, let's throw the rule book out the window or shall we all just play nicely and keep to the rules and the challenges :rolleyes

They are fairly well trained, I walk them without leads normally. I did need the help from the mrs to keep their attention with some choccy drops :)
Awesome dogs just a shame they get such a bad reputation.

Guys lets not get too serious about this, its just a game. I'm only getting the photos because I'm out on the bike every day and just using my imagination. I even left this one 24 hours to give others a chance. I could get them as soon as they come out but I don't.

But I still think it would be better to take proper pictures. If people who can ride the whole day take pictures like those and they are accepted they take the chances to people who want to ride the bike just to do it as soon as they can.
For example: there is an ancient castellated wall with a tower just in front of me. I could take the picture even without starting the engine. Nobody could have known it wasn't a real castle but I wanted it to be real so I waited until I had time to take the bike to a nearby town or somebody else could take a picture of another one.

Its a game ffs!!!So you keep telling us.. However, games generally have rules and everytime you post a questionable photo it throws the game off track. I thought we had agreed to stick to the wording or the actual challenge. You can still use your vivid imagination by sticking to the wording. This is how I see it Steve, you are on your bike every day, therefore stand more chance of getting the challenges without any controversy. OK then, here it is. Although strictly speaking it's not vintage as vintage must be a car built between 1919 and 1930 and it's a 1971, it's still on Californian plates as it was only imported a few weeks ago and it's got a flat tyre. Oh, and in my rush to get the bike out of the shed, take the pic and put it away again before the rain starts, I've just clouted my right hand mirror and broke it off at the base. So I hope the effort is appreciated! Anyone know the best place to get a new mirror from? It won't be right without being able to have a clear view of my elbow while riding.

It was bought by a mate in France and the plan was that it was shipped to me (cheaper to ship to the UK), I do just enough to it to get an MoT so it can be registered in the UK and then it goes to France to be completely restored and transferred to French registration (as it is fairly easy to transfer registration on something from another EU country but virtually impossible to register something from outside the EU). Despite that fact that the ad by the dealer in the US described it as mechanically sound, their definition would seem to differ from ours. By mechanically sound you expect the engine to run and it to be driveable at least, not to have no brake hoses or fuel lines, carbs that have been full of water for so long they are seized solid and a starter motor that is permanently engaged so you can't even turn the engine over! We haven't decided what we are going to do with it yet so it is sitting on my driveway until we do......

Had a run out to sunny Hunny yesterday and hoped to find a tractor but failed dismally. Parked in amongst the other bikes by the pier and hoped someone would park a Harley next to mine but they didn't. That would have counted as a tractor wouldn't it?

Lol! I was just wondering if the "City and County of Bristol" sign was still in place next to Ashton Gate.
The Council deliberately put of them up in 1974 when Bristol's Charter (defining it as a County) was withdrawn, one year after we'd celebrated 600 years of being a City and a County :(

Can't get the pictures off the thread for some reason but I remember taking the photo. Doesn't matter anyway, I was nowhere near it, it might as well have been a hand fan.

I would suggest starting a 2014 thread, otherwise the scores and checking for what has already been used will be a nightmare. Will previously set challenges be acceptable for 2014? If not, who's volunteering to keep a list of what's been done?

Well, as I've not had much to do with it, I'll wait for others to say what they want first. I'm happy to keep track of scores and what challenges have already been used if you want a break from it Fizzy.

What if old challenges can be accepted, but no pics of places that have been used before?
The only reason I'm suggesting this is that if anyone who hasn't had a go before keeps getting told, oh but we've had that, it might put people off trying. And I'm not suggesting that those who have been playing regularly shouldn't at least try to be original.
I don't think it's fair to ban anyone from taking part.
