Title: Servicing near Watford

My FZR600 will need a full service ready for the spring, and I'm not in a position to do it myself.

Does anyone have a particular outfit they use somewhere in Herts / North London?

I would prefer to use a specialist rather than a main dealer as I've always had better treatment and quality of work from people who work under their own reputation rather than a brand.

I've done a few web searches, but a personal recommendation is often better.

Moores in Apsley near Hemel http://www.mooresmotorcycles.co.uk/yamaha-contactus.aspx are a Yamaha main dealer. Well established and same owner for many years. Very familiar with Fazers so from that point of view you're in safe hands BUT they're expensive.

Moores in Hemel, expensive? I'll say so £393 for a 6k service!? Won't be going back!

I've used this guy and he's pretty good, reasonable and honest. I'd recommend him..

Used him once when i had my front juddering issues, he never figured out the problem and didn't charge me which was fair enough, but when i later tried undoing my caliper and wheel nuts it was if they'd been tightened up using a 20 foot scaffold pole.
It was just something that bugged me a bit at the time.
