Title: fzs 1000 - bubble in rev counter...new
Post by: shrek on 03 November 2012, 04:11:15 pm
During a recent trip abroad in the wet..my fazer whilst running ..the rev counter went from 8k to 0...
i also noticed a bubble behind the left hand screw in the dial.
it cut out once but re-started no problem  :'( ,and ran fine till we returned .. its done it twice since i've been back  ,both times in the dry.. :b

is this my rev counter breaking down..??
i have sourced some more clocks..with a view to swapping the rev counter from the donor clocks... :rolleyes
Is it possible to do this before i dismantle my clocks

Not sure, have a look at this link about changing the fule gauge for a multi gauge. It shows how the instruments are removed and dismantled, so maybe of some help.
