reset a auto fazer 1000 cam chain adjuster?

usually you remove the nut on the back of the adjuster, insert a small tipped elecy screwdriver and wind it back out (remember not to let go), bolt the tensioner back in then release the screwdriver to retension the camchain.
turn it over 360 degrees to find the slack and away you go.

hum i thought that except on this one if you wind it back and refit when you remove the driver it dont spring forward to tension or did i miss summat
