I'm thinking of getting engine bars for my FZS600 and the Yamaha dealer recommended Rentec:

Before I go ahead, does anyone know of any other options or other products that would help protect my bike if I drop it?

Wemoto do some different ones that are a bit cheaper:

I've got no idea which ones would work best. I've got Renntec ones on mine but that's mainly because they were second hand and cheap

Get these, I have them :lol
There almost the same as the rentec but slightly cheaper and cover more than the previous post.

Thanks for the link. I might get them instead. They look metallic as opposed to the painted Rentec ones but I don't suppose that matters.
Cheers!

I can highly reccomend the rentecs. They work really well as i have tested mine a few times in the 4 years i've had my fazer. :D

Haha, reminds me of this: http://xkcd.com/937/ (http://xkcd.com/937/)
Anyone have any "experience" with the wemoto ones?

Yeah, I think mine are the same as the wemoto ones. They are powder coated solid black not metallic and if they are the same and not a copy, they are in fact made in Germany. I got mine for £65 I think it was, from a German seller on Ebay. They seem well made and were easy to fit although the instructions were worse than useless.
