I have the 2002-3 fairing on my 98 if that's what you are asking?

the headlamps won't fit the gen 1 fairing though, even looking at it should tell you that

Agree with above. There is also a bit of re-wiring required as the 2002/2003 uses two twin filament bulbs were as the Mk1 model uses one single filament bulb (for dip) and one filament of the two filament bulb (for main beam). Assuming you have not done the Mk1 lighting mod of course. There are also two pilot lights in the Mk2 if you want to use them. If you compare the wiring diagrams for the two models you will see it's a different layout for the headlamp bulbs.
I have a wiring diagram I did for these changes which I can attempt to post on here if you need it.

not as bad as the earlier ones, especially if both are on together. Still not brilliant though.

hey, another Gordn.

I think they come off the donor bike. I must admit, mine was on the bike when I got it and the lower bracketry is a little untidy but sufficient.
