That is the full kit- do you need all of that- Plugs etc
I was told never to use anything else but a Yamaha oil filter for the extra few quid after someone cut a cheapo and a Yamaha filter apart to see the filter media

Got 30k on the clock. The plugs and air filter were last changed at 12k.
I think I'll get genuine oil filter..

do yamaha make their own oil and filters? I doubt it. I've just put castrol GTX 10w/40 semi synthetic in my FZ6 it's on offer in wilkinsons £15 for 4L it's not what you pay it's what you get that counts, look at the grade I used to use yamlube but the castrol meets if not exceeds the yamlube.
the oil is not on offer now, it's £19.99.

Having just bough an FZ6, and seeing it hadn't been serviced for 2 years, (only done 4000 miles since tho), I was tempted with this kit, then found it was cheaper to buy the bits seperately!
Same site do the same Oil and Filter for £27.99, got 4 x NGK Spark Plug Iridium £26.12 on Ebay, and an Air Filter on Ebay for £15.70 Total= £69.81
Also gone for Castrol coolant so I can change it as I can't find any evidence of it being changed in the service history, 8 years old, 19k on the clock.
