Title: Pilot air screw,how many turns out?

Hello there focers!
Just a quick question!
Can somebody tell me how many turns out to unscrew the pilot air screw?
2 or 2,5??? my bike is an fzs 600 2001,with k&n air filter and danmoto carbon exhaust.

Can't you use one of the other carbs as a guide? Turn all the way in counting the turns, then reversing.

its 2 full turns out on the 2001 fazer and 2 1/2..turns out on 2002/2003 mods

but remember, thats just a `starting point`..........you may find they will need fine-tuning to get things running spot on which may mean they are all turned in / out a bit from your `starting point`. no two engines are the same.......what may work on one engine at 2 turns out may be utter sh&te on another. bear that in mind. good luck with it ;)

Is there any "easy" way to find the sweet spot?
Maybe with the carbtune or everything must be done by ear at idle speed?
