Ooooops just received the dreaded letter throught the post got caught by camera doing 97 on a dual carridgeway near south milford hotel might not be riding or driving soon :'(
-
97, should be ok? By which I mean, not a ban (unless you've got a load of points anyway?)
-
nope only 3 that end this october :lol
-
You may have 9 for a while then ;)
I'm guessing, if you plead guilty (if they even take it to court, and don't just do a statutory thing), it'll be 6 points and 150 notes. Seem to remember somebody else on here having a similar close call?
-
These are not legal opinions, just those of some random bloke on t'internet :)

a few years back got caught doing 102 on m40.pleaded guilty in court and gave a bit of a sob story about letting my wife and family down and got £350 fine and 3 points.....few years ago maybe as much as 10
-
This is mad. I got 6 points, £260 fine with £100 costs for going..........wait for it...........40 mph :eek Couldn't believe it. Blackwall tunnel, 10 o clock at night, duel carriageway, hardly any other traffic......HARSH.
-
Always a risk my son, everytime you mount the iron horse..whaaaaoooo.....
-
97 on a NSL is below the usual ton+ where you get invited to court. Unless it's a bad stretch of road you'd normally just get a NIP followed by the conditional offer of £60 and 3 points (or an invitation to attend a speed awareness course if you are really lucky).
-
Reading the blurb the speed awareness course runs up till 88 mph and it says dont think about asking for the course if you are over this speed :-(
