Title: Kyoto Brake pads any good?

Anybody tried these budget pads . I am asking for factual information , not general false economy advice .

Mate has them, not keen in the pouring rain was what he said to me!


I have SBS pads on now and they are a lot better than what ever was in it before.

.....they will be fine for a few wks after you have bedded them in!!!...and then when you start to do any heavy braking they will start to glaze!!....i had 2 sets of them? in 2 diff bikes and same problem!!....like tefer says?....SBS..is the way!!! they are excellent!! ;)

got these in my 600......you get what you pay for....nothing fancy,passed the mot and will stop you  ;)

As long as they have no history of disintegrating or whatever i don't mind giving them a go.
I've not noticed much if any difference in the different types i have fitted to cars over the years. ta

they're ok in the dry but poor once the disc gets wet and they glaze up instantly.

Never tried them, but if you never ride your bike again, never, EVER buy Gold Fren pads.
Would be better using your scrotum on the discs, more chance of actually stopping the bike than they do.
Nearly got a ride up the road from the Spring Meet in a Stagecoach as I just managed to get her pulled her up in time.

EBC HH for me from now on, even if it means Pot Noodles for dinner a couple of nights.

What about Moto Tech pads  gg rated. these are on e bay at the moment very cheep. seems to have sold loads
