Check out my Custom fazer project found here http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,4125.0.html (http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,4125.0.html), in particular chapter 2, projector lights are legally blinding ;-), much better lighting than the stock headlights.

One of the most common (and easy to do) modifications is to wire both lights to come on instead of just one side. I've done this to mine - costs less than £5 for the new adapter and a little bit of wire and takes less than an hour to actually do. There is an article in the Hot Poop section here http://foc-u.co.uk/wiki/index.php?title=Headlight_mod_%2898-01_model%29 (http://foc-u.co.uk/wiki/index.php?title=Headlight_mod_%2898-01_model%29)
There was another guide that John Silva posted I believe but I can't find it...
