i have just replaced my standard downpipes for s/s ones and end can for a scorpion :D
whilst having a brew afterwards, i realised that i ought to check the tightness of the downpipe bolts on the engine after it has been running for a bit.
what would you do ?
go for a quick ride (10-15 mins) then let it cool down and check ?
thanks
p.s. if you have done this yourself how did you get at the 1st bolt for the 2nd cylinder on the right if looking from the front ?
was a right sod to get at!

Last time i changed the gaskets on my headers i checked the bolts every couple of days for a few weeks as they seemed to slacken off for some reason before eventually settling down, i'd imagine it's a hot and cold thing.
Can't say i had any problems with the bolts, just used an extension bar and all was good, just make sure they're all torqued equally.

thanks :)
can't see the recommended torque settings for these bolts.
any idea what they are
