Title: brake line replacement
Post by: ponkster on 10 July 2012, 09:02:39 am
I am looking to upgrade my brake lines to stainless braided ones

What sytem have you guys gone for? - have you stuck with the single line to a splitter  into to two lines front brake type or converted to a two lines from the master cylinder to caliper front system?

What are the merits of each system? ( other than one being cheaper)

I went with HEL too, two lines from the lever. If you're still on the original lines, its a well overdue mod :thumbup

Thanks for the replys - I think I will go for a two line system - seems like a cleaner simple system to me too.

Anyone got a guide on fitting and bleeding the buggers? If I recall, the double banjo at the master cylinder is a bit trickey to get the air out of... :'(
